Spring, TX - A Monday morning fight at Grand Oaks High School ended with one student stabbed and another taken into custody, according to Conroe Independent School District officials.
Stabbing Incident Unfolds on Campus
The altercation happened around 9 a.m. at the campus on Riley Fuzzel Road in the Spring area. One student received three shallow stab wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital. The current condition of the injured student has not been disclosed.
Swift Police Action Following School Stabbing
Conroe ISD Police, working with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, quickly identified and detained the suspected student.
“The parents of both involved students have been notified. Because the victim and the suspect are juveniles, we cannot share additional information,” said Conroe ISD Police Chief Matthew Blakelock.

Blakelock added that the situation appears isolated, emphasizing there’s no continuing threat to students or staff. Disciplinary and legal actions are expected under district policy and Texas law.
